A bed beneath the apex circle. The night sky entirely yours.
Pitched a little further along the cliff than her sister, Yurt Nomad sits where the wind comes up clean and the night sky comes down low. A circle of sky at the apex — open in summer, glazed in winter — and a bed directly beneath it.
The first night, you may forget to sleep. The Milky Way runs straight through the apex if you have the curtains drawn back, and people who have travelled most of the world will tell you they have not seen stars like this since they were small. Crete in the south is dark in the way only an island can be — no city, no road, no glow.
Inside, layered kilims, low couches, a copper basin in the corner, candles in iron holders. A small wood stove for cool nights. Outside, a deck. A path down through the herb garden to the spa.
